熊伟      外国语学院常务副院长，兼法语教研室主任，副教授。美国乔治城大学（Georgetown University）语言学学士，英国伦敦大学学院（University College London）语言学硕士，法国巴黎高等社会科学院（Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales）博士研究生。多年来在国内国外从事英、法、汉的语言教学工作。同时，多次被各国企业及政府部门（如昌平区政府、英国British Council等）邀请为特聘翻译。其为新华在线公司（新华社与星岛新闻集团合资企业）校对修改的译稿帮助新华在线公司成功获得英国《Standard》亚洲版《香港虎报》的出版权，具有较为深厚的语言理论基础和丰富的语言实践经验。

 D. Wei Hsiung, Executive Vice-Dean and Director of the French Section, has widely traveled in the US and in Europe. He graduated from Georgetown University, Washington DC, with a B.Sc degree in linguistics. After having taught there for a year, he went on for a Master’s degree in University College London and a D.E.A. degree in Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris, France. Other than his academic work, he has carried out many translation and consulting assignments with special invitations from government and private organizations, such as the US National Science Foundation, British Council, and Changping District Government. His revising and polishing of translations has helped Beijing Xinhuaonline Co.,Ltd. (a joint venture of Xinhua News Agency and Singtao News Corporation) win the bid for the oriental version of the newspaper Standard. With his sound theoretical training and a rich translating experience in a wide spectrum of fields both in China and abroad, he is now leading his faculty members in a bold endeavour of trying out new language teaching methods. His main research interests are in cognitive linguistic theories, Chinese-English translation, Chinese-French translation, English-French translation and language teaching in a high vocational education setting.

张存礼，毕业于大连外国语学院，一直从事日语翻译和日语教学工作，自改革开放以来，除在国内接待过各类型的日本代表团、考察团之外，还曾多次随经贸部、市政府以及各企事业代表团赴日参加国际会议和经贸方面的考察和洽谈。曾担任秦皇岛国际经济技术贸易公司翻译兼业务部经理、北戴河爱辉国际旅游学院专职日语副教授、黑龙江省鸡西天立外国语学院专职日语副教授，于1993年被河北省高级职称评定委员会评为副译审。现任北京吉利大学外国语学院日语教研室主任。

Zhang Cunli, vice-professor, associate reviser, Chair of the Japanese Division, graduated from Dalian Foreign Languages Institute. While teaching, he has been active in translating and in the business sphere. Accompanying different delegations, both official and of private sectors, both Chinese and Japanese, he was been virtually on shuttles between China and Japan. He was once the manager of the Qinghuangdao International Economic and Technological Trading Company. In this way, he is a teacher with a double qualification in business. He is the author and translator of many books, including novels and popular science readers.

     郑禄，中国人民大学俄文系研究生毕业，后任北京市继续教育学会第一届理事，北京国际信息研究协会理事，北京市科技对外交流协会理事；原中国人民大学教授，硕士生导师。现任北京吉利大学外国语学院俄语教研室主任。

Zheng Lu, professor, Chair of the Russian Division, member of the Beijing International Committee of Information Research, member of the Beijing Science and Technology Exchange Committee, director of research for graduate studies, was a graduate from China Renmin University majoring in Russian grammar. His academic achievements are manifold: his Russian (in 8 volumes) published by the Commercial Press in 1962 has been serving as the benchmark textbooks for decades; his many publications on Marxism-Leninism and on the Chinese translations of K. Marx and V.I. Lenin in the 1980’s have had such a profound influence in that they helped to alter the political direction and trend of the country at the time; and finally, his works on the Russian language and linguistics have certainly made him one of the leading Russian language specialists of the country. His A Russian-Chinese Dictionary of Verbs is forthcoming (approximately 1.800.000 words to be published by the Foreign Language Learning and Teaching Press).
